    To the future

    I honestly still have the same dream. A school but the current me does not have the drive to do such a thing. So I'm changing my major to photography and csis, though of course I still need to check it out and it will be difficult as well also with the journalism thing I'm going to try. Though I have the whole picture of beginning and end I don't have the steps to it. So I will slowly take the step forward and when I need to move I'll move and figure out what I need to do. What is everyone's future steps?

    Already have everything set I see. That's good, though I'm fine with changing my things I still have that one goal but it's not something I'm rushing. And all this is really recent so I'll learn little by little. I really want to start things on my own.(not that I won't get help)

    I want to open up a maid cafe. The only one in California is Royal-T cafe, I think, and that's in SoCal and not authentic like the ones in Japan. The waitresses wear maid costumes there but that's it. One has a tattoo! xO

    But anyways, that is what I want to do. I'm going to go to community college next school year while I figure out what 4 year I want to go to. I wanted to go to UC Santa Cruz but I don't think they have a major that would help me. I'm so obsessed with that school! I feel a bit heartbroken. Although, I can design my own major there, perhaps in management, or something of the sort? I'll see.

    My previous idea was that I'd go to UCSC and major in environmental studies, since I've always been into that sort of thing, but I'm not sure I'll be able to take all of that science for so long. I was going to work for the Environmental Protection Agency! But, I mostly care about energy and air quality, and most jobs in the field are aimed towards animals, plants, and water. It's important and all, but I'm not that interested in learning as in depth about that as I am with energy and air.

    Hm. So anyways, I wanna open up a maid cafe!

    Turns out I'm not that far from getting my AA in Language art. Well I have a lot of thoughts on things and how I would do them. But it's fine that it changes so much.

    @Kochan-
    Lmao there is an actual maid cafe? I don't think they'll ever get that authentic, perhaps. Well I can ask my friend, since she goes to UC Santa Cruz, she is a senior there with a major in psychology. Well if you do want to start a business then I guess majoring in business and management should do it.

    I wanted to become an Egyptologist and teach in a university but my family doesn't support me with that direction....I always say that I'll be a vet but I really don't want to do that anymore. I love animals and all but I'm not passionate about the veterinary medicine any more. I don't know what I'm gonna do really...my old passion is dead and my long time passion isn't supported. *Cry*

    Well you have to do what you have to do. My support is slowly fading, if it wasn't for my mom I wouldn't be in school. I'll find something to do, whether my parents approve of it or not. Though that is my perspective. I say go for it, it's never just that simple.

    As long as you are up for learning ancient Egyptian and learning the mythology you should be fine. If you want your parents to support you you first have to prove that you have a passion that you refuse to give up. Brush up on your Egytian Myths and start studying Egyptian history. If you do enough on your own then you won't need them to give approval since you'll already be studying. In time they will give you the support you crave. For example my father keeps telling me that it's a waste of time to learn Japanese yet I took the courses anyways. If my teacher follows through with the grant fund petition then I have a shot of actually going to Japan next year. This is all I need to prove to my father that even if he says something isn't worth my time that it doesn't mean it won't lead me to great things. He also called anime and manga useless but I stuck with it and made some fantastic friends both online and in rl. I'm even ended up joining the japanese culture and anime club at my college which is part of Mu Epislon Kappa a greek organization. I take the things I love and are called pointless or worthless and turn them into achievements. If you want to study Egypt for the rest of your life then start on your own and pursue that degree. You can't give up on your goals just because your parents don't see a point in them. So what if you can't afford to pay for the degree right now, nothing is stopping you from doing research on your own and getting what you want except yourself.

    @Siri, there's a maid cafe in LA. Here's an article all about it! It's called Royal-T Cafe. It looks SO cool, I like the art. Tough competition! ('A' ")
