Thread: High School of the Dead

There was this pretty interesting manga almost a year or so ago that was about a zombie apocalypse and all sorts of interesting events in said zombie apocalypse. Well, apparently its coming / came back. Various sources indicate that an anime adaption is coming out as well. ^ ^

So totally plugging this manga and anime, the series is quite interesting and if you're totally bored or something during the summer, its a whole mess of archetypes of manga rolled up into a ball of fun.

I read it and i liked it. I think i'm going to reread it this summer.

I already started re-reading it, though I've actually been pretty busy over the summer, which was kinda surprising.

For curiosity's sake, how would you end a zombie story anyway? Just wondering cause some movies end up having zombies kill off the main protagonists and are more depressing but other movies just kinda kill off all the zombies and its a rushed sense of closure. I guess which is better?

Drown dah dead Zombies! DX I doubt I would read this, maybe if someone lent it to me not knowing Zombies scare the bajebus out of me. Yeah then I might read it. That is how I work. I'm sure as soon as the zombies ate everyone they'd... explode.

I would have the zombies develop intelligence and take over the world enslaving humanity.

Personally, all zombie themed stories are kinda silly cause they always end up blaming science for like "Killer Viruses" or medicines gone wrong which is sort of ironic since I'm planning to study medicine and the likes in college. So if theres a zombie apocalypse from killer viruses, I'm totally sorry ahead of time.

That would be kind of cool.
